Wow!! Crazy! We have had an uncharacteristically warm winter so far (which I've been loving). Today we got a little bit of snow, but that is the first time this season! I think it is already melted mostly! Love you and I've been praying for your kids lately - they are my dear sweet cousins. :)
I don't think the boys really realized what a gift a snow day can be on a school day, but they jumped up and down and squealed like crazy when they saw all of the snow. I read something today that if snow doesn't make you want to make and throw a snowball, then you've definitely been lost to adulthood. Luckily, I'm still a kid (I just don't move as quickly as I used to).
My teenagers enjoyed the snow days with a snowball fight and making a snowman. But they were glad to go back to school today and see their friends. Our next door neighbor's back yard looked like the entrance to Narnia with all the tall snowy trees behind our houses.
